Friday 8 April turned into a terrific feature double winning evening for the Dean Kannemeyer Racing team with Fieldspring Racing's Mambo Mime (Mambo In Seattle) winning the Gr3 Byerley Turk and then David Abery's smart Trippi filly shocking some pundits with a solid win in the Gr3 Umzimkhulu Stakes.

This came just 48 hours after the Khaya Stables double with Cape Speed and Never Settle on Wednesday.

"'The Summerveld yard is in great form and this is confidence boosting stuff on the ev of what looks to be a hotly contested SA Champions Season," said an elated Dean.

"Owner loyalty and good horses are key to our success and we are very fortunate. Well done to feature winning breeders Avontuur and Lammerskraal Stud – what more does one say about these bastions of the industry in this country?" said Dean.
